The BISC Initiative grows school by school. Each branch is student-run, faculty-supported, and committed to the same mission of peer-driven giving.
Founding Branch
The Boston Heroes Club
Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall · Waltham, MA
Our founding branch, home to the Boston Heroes Club at Chapel Hill-Chauncy Hall. Now in its second semester, the CH-CH branch has run four campaigns, raised over $5,250, and assembled a seven-person Leadership Committee supported by 40+ active student volunteers.

Stuart School Branch
Stuart Country Day School · Princeton, NJ
Our second branch, launching fall 2026 and led by two juniors and a senior who have already begun fundraising through an AAPI Affinity Group bake sale, raising over $150. We're excited to welcome Stuart into the BISC family.

Our third branch, launching September 2026 and represented on the BISC Initiative's student board by junior Avalon Jellinek. We're thrilled to welcome CSW into the BISC network.

Branch Requirements
What it takes to start
Starting a BISC branch is straightforward. Here's what every new branch needs to get off the ground.

A Faculty Advisor
Every branch must have at least one faculty advisor to provide institutional support and guidance.

A Leadership Committee
At least two student leaders to form the core of your branch's organizing committee.

Open Membership
Branches must be non-exclusive – no application required for general members to participate.
04
Three Campaigns/Year
Each branch commits to running at least three fundraising efforts per academic year for Youth Villages.
